Tour to the Mangroves of Terraba

 

We also offer a boat ride through the mangroves of Terraba. This is a place in which the red mangrove (Rhizophora mangle), black mangrove (Avicennia germinans), white mangrove (Languncularia racemosa), Mangle Piñuela (Pelliciera rhizophorae) are very common.

There are also many species of birds such as the green heron, blue heron, tiger heron, White Ibis, mangrove hummingbird, and other animals such as capuchin monkeys, titi monkeys, raccoons and crocodiles; on occasion you can see some of these precious animals.
