Snorkeling at Caño Island – One Day Tour

It is a small island of Costa Rica, which has about 300 hectares in the Pacific Ocean part of Costa Rica, west of the Osa Peninsula. It was declared a national park and protected area. It is a popular tourist destination, which attracts visitors for its beaches, coral reefs and marine life.

The virgin waters of this island are some of the blues in the country with a fantastic visibility under the water where they harbor a spectacular variety of marine flora and fauna as well as some glorious coral reefs. Named as one of the best diving and snorkeling spots in the world, the Biological Reserve of Caño Island is also home to a wide variety of fish, whales and sharks, sea turtles, dolphins, rays, moray eels, barracudas, tunas and mere.
