Family Activity Private Tour – Fishing & Snorkel

Special guided tour for groups of families and friends, it includes snorkeling in Isla del Caño Biological Reserve and fishing at the authorized points around 20 miles from the coast, during this fishing there are chances to fish Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Wahoos, Baracuda and more.

We left the Marino Ballena National Park towards Caño Island during the boat ride (which takes like an hour and a half to arrive to the island) we fish using the modality of trolling, once we arrive to the island, we snorkeling and then we fish more at authorized points out of the reserve, a picnic-style lunch will be served on the boat or if you do not want to fish anymore, this lunch can be done on a beach in the area. At the end of the tour we return to the Dolphin Tour office.

Costa Rica is well known for its crystal blue waters. It is one of the most popular places for tourists who love fishing. The boat (especially for fishing comfortably and safely) has fishing equipment, safety devices such as GPS, compasses, and marine band radios. We also include food and beverages. We have qualified and experienced personnel who know the best places to fish. The fishing tour is private.

Sport fishing is done responsibly inshore and offshore, always abiding by the rules provided by Inco Pesca laws and regulations.  Species which are good to eat may be kept, while other sport fish are catch and release only.
